Final Project

My thought process for my final project will be coming up with a bunch of things that have meaning to me and tying them all together some how. I plan on tying in what we learned about Walker and how he expresses his emotion in his artwork in my piece. I plan on doing my final project on a collage of pictures of family, friends, items of my favorite things and just a bunch of me put into one project. I plan on using all the techniques that we have went over during the quarter, along with coming up with a few of my own.

I plan on brainstorming and gathering pictures of my friends and family, and combine them both together in a final project somehow. I plan on using conceptual unity.

Notes:
Big word: Unity
conceptual; idea behind it
Unity---Variety

My final project contained pictures that mean a lot to me in my life. This includes a picture of my dog, my family, my best friends, and the beach. I dissolved the pictures into my background picture to try and make it look like the beach was the main part for my project. I went through the process by what means more to me, what I wanted to add in my picture, and what kind of text that would finalize it. I used a total of five pictures. My word was unity, and to me that meant my family, my friends and things that are very important to me in my life that I couldn't live with out. I loved all the pictures I added and am overall very pleased with how my final turned out!

Blog Project 5

My two words: To dapple; to impress
I chose to use my macbook computer as an item I use every day. I decided I couldn't add spots like this to my real computer, so I decided to use photoshop for all additions. I added the spots because to dapple means to add spots. I added a jeweled out apple symbol in the middle, and picked a picture from google and added it where the apple symbol would be. I added a bunch of different types of spots and even downloaded different shapes off the web. I chose different sizes to make the spots show up more. The process I went through while making my final outcome of this was to use both of my words which were to impress and to dapple, and to add them to one of my favorite item I use through out the whole day.
